A blaster is the standard weapon in the game, it is installed onto all newly-bought ships. There are a few different types of blasters, Normal, Rare and Ancient(Strong,Rapid and Normal) which vary in shape, damage, energy usage, shot type and cryonite it takes to purchase it.
A blaster is needed for any ship to ship combat through-out the game and it is always the first in the equipment usage at the bottom, it can also be used by pressing the number '1' on the keyboard.
